Browsing through Alexander McQueen's S/S 2010 runway show I had two thoughts: futuristic safari and Balenciaga S/S 2008 runway. Let's compare, shall we?

I haven't had the time to read other reviews yet, but I would guess I'm not the first to notice the striking resemblance. Everything from the shape of the dresses down to the rockin' lace-ups (a little harder to see in McQueen - click to see larger photo) shouts Ghesquière. A friend once told me "it's not fashion until someone wears it". Considering this style has already been worn, where does that leave McQueen's 2010 runway?
