Wishing I was in Paris. Also wishing they didn't stop production of Polaroids! I'm thinking about getting the Fuji Instant Camera even though clearly it won't be the same. Polaroids are so much fun for taking pictures before a night out on the town. We have a wall in our apartment that's covered with them from all different nights over the past two years. Facebook is not forever, Polaroid is.

This photo struck me as a message that life at its simplest is a solitary, upwards voyage through which we carry the few worldly possessions that mean the most. I'm feeling inspired to weed out all the excess in my closet and focus on the staples that I would bring with me in this particular suitcase. I think it's one of those pensive days...
