I can't seem to take off my converses right now. No outfit feels right without them on, so I've been building my outfits around them. And if it's not this pair, it's the silver sequined low-tops or (gasp) my Ed Hardy high-tops. My other shoes are definitely getting jealous of the insane amount of wear that the converses are getting, so I will be transitioning back soon. What do you all think: are the converses here to stay or is it just another trend that's soon to blow over?

I haven't really worn mine for a while, I only wear them on 'off' days but I'm sure the early noughties revival will happen soon and they'll be back. It's all about my Docs at the moment.

Converse first started making these in 1917, but they became crazy popular in the 1950s. They had a resurgence in the 1970s with the first "punk rockers". They faded away but returned again in the 90s (Kurt Cobain rocked them). I'm thinking that based on these trends, they might fade away for a bit but will definitely return. That being said, I own and wear at least 3 pairs and don't plan on stopping anytime soon. :)
